The Caribbean Baptist Fellowship (CBF) installed William
Thompson as its new president and Everton Jackson as executive secretary/treasurer
during the CBF General Assembly held in Montego Bay, Jamaica, from
March 18-21.
The CBF is one of six regional fellowships of the Baptist
World Alliance (BWA).
The assembly brought together Baptist leaders and delegates
from various countries in the Caribbean for worship, fellowship, study and decision
meetings.
Thompson, who is president of the Bahamas National Baptist

Washington, DC (BWA) -- Two Baptist leaders from Haiti visited the offices of the
Baptist World Alliance and told the story of the devastating earthquake that struck
their country on January 12.
Eugene Gedeon, vice president of the Baptist Convention of Haiti (BCH), and Edrice
Romelus, superintend for evangelism and former general secretary for Baptist Haiti
